Sarah Dacey Charles
2 long years of Change and Deepening
Hi there and thanks for stopping by!
How ya doin? I know it's been tough these past few years in so many ways, but I hope you are not only healthy but are somehow keeping your sense of hope and possibility alive.
It can be tempting to let a sense of futility take over. One can go down the rabbit hole and start thinking... " There's so many problems in the world. What can I do to make a difference?"
But I believe the world needs us artists and sensitive souls now more than ever. It's up to us to keep the light on. Or as the late, great Tennessee Williams said of artists:
"We get people home; we let them know that we're here for them. This is what art can do. Art should be the arm and the shoulder and the kind eyes--all of which let others know you deserve to live and to be loved. That is what matters, baby. Bringing people home."
Here's to the future of you!
